Girard or chychurn PLEASE HELP

so this is a multicat league: g,a,PIM,SOG,GWG,PPP,HITS,BLKS,TOISH, TKs for Defense.

Who would you rather this year and going forward. small part to a deal but for me its important as i am weak on the backend.

With the multicast angle I lean Chychrun.

Chychrun for me too. I can see Girard's value going up someday if/when Barrie gets traded but even then I think I'd prefer Chychrun.

In a multicat league I prefer Chychrun as well

Multi cat is easily Chychrun and he has the chance to really gain value if OEL gets traded or leaves next year when he's UFA.

Thanks for the replies all. Looks like it might lean towards me getting girard but I'm looking at a pick upgrade for the difference.

Chychrun is one of the guys Im looking forward to draft in multi-cat leagues. He's the obvious pick beyond this year. For this year it's about 50-50.

I picked up Chykrun as my 6th D in my multi-cat keeper when he came back from injury. Considering he's coming off fairly major surgery, he has been a very pleasant surprise and is posting nice value, averaging: 0.5 points, 2.5 sog, 1.5 hits, 1.5 blocks per game over the 18 games he's played. Logging heavy minutes, getting top PP time, doing it all situations. He won't be a keeper for me, but I think he can continue to post nice value ROS in multi-cat, and will try and redraft him next year.
