I think I would also go with Owen Tippett. It's hard to know because I don't think much is clear about who is cleanly better than the other. You might not go wrong either way but if it costs you nothing Z, take Tippett.

I liked Vilardi going into the draft more and I still like Vilardi more today.
FWIW, in Pronmans latest mid-season prospect ranking, he has Vilardi at 8th overall and Tippett at 18.

this is one in all honesty I think is too early to call. They play different style games. I think they both have solid futures and good NHL ceilings. I'd find a way to keep both at least for another season.
