Canucks fan here and I like RyJo > Horvat. The canucks struggle to score, will struggle to score. Yes, he's got exposure to Boeser, but Horvat hasn't proven to be anywhere close to consistent as a point producer, let alone a goal scorer. RyJo is still playing L1 on one of the top teams in the league.

    52 - last year
20 in 28 = 58.5 pt pace this year. He's consistently improving and has been doing this with very limited help - especially last year. he had an outside shot at 30-30 this year before the injury (10-10 in 28).. I think, as a Canuck fan - you're really short changing what you've got in Horvat. He's going to be a 60+pt guy annually.

Pettersson will be top C in no time. Maybe even next year. Horvat's game is built to be a strong 2-way C. I think he will be and should be a #2C with more of a focus on shut-down while providing secondary scoring. Like Kesler, without being a jack@$$. He may have 1 or 2 60+pt seasons in him, but I feel 50-55 will be a more typical number for him.

I have to say Horvat. He was doing terrific before he got hurt. The way Boeser is playing if he and Horvat stay together I would continue to prefer Horvat. RyJo just doesn't seem like the player many thought he would be or the player he had at times seemed like. Horvat has improved every year he's been in the league and I expect he continues to improve.
