Tarasenko for Ovi and Doughty
Hey Team,
I haven't consulted in awhile but this is a pretty big one. I need a defender to go for the repeat. I've got Klingberg who's been a monster but after that, Letang (underwhelming but solid) Leddy (icy as can be), Montour (learning) and OEL (terrifically terrible thus far).
I've got an offer of my Tarasenko (3.2 fantasy points this year) for his Ovechkin (3.8) and Doughty (2.5). Doughty is the 6th best defender in our set up this year.
Obviously the age gap between Ovi and Tarasenko is significant but in a win-now mode, this seems like a fair deal.
I'd also be chipping in Carter Hart, but Hart isn't a keeper for me - just picked him up as trade fodder before the WJHC.
Thoughts?

It's a yes for me. Ovi could easily outproduce tank for a few more seasons. Doughty is just gold on top for the win.

Are you dropping someone to accommodate the extra player you are taking on? That should be a factor, if so.

Says he’s throwing in Carter Hart, so I’m assuming there won’t be any additional drops. Even if there was, Ovi is basically on par with Tank and then Doughty is going to be miles ahead of the bottom player on a 23 man roster.
