I'm having a really bad year and currently sitting at 12 place out of 14 teams. I'm currently 55 pts back from the 1st place team. Therefore, I'm thinking of trading Karlsson to get an above average forward with some top picks. Sergachev & Josi would be my 2 keepers for D and then Holtby & Talbot for G and then I have 6 forwards left to protect.
Does this seems reasonable for Karlsson or should I stand pat?

You need an elite offer to move an elite player. People can try to buy low all they want, I wouldn't budge.

13 team keep 10 makes the picks a lot less valuable, and players like EK much moreso. I would need someone like Matthews or Laine coming back to consider it.

You shouldn't want to move Josi, either. He's probably a top 5-10 defenseman. I'd prefer moving Talbot or one of you lesser keeper forwards to try and upgrade a keeper by including depth to help teams in the hunt. If Evander Kane wasn't aforce in this league the last couple years, he should go, as well. It does look like it might be a good format to hold him, though.Originally Posted by The Great One
