    Default 3rd goalie help

Beginning of the season, I believed that I could dominate goalie cats.
But Talbot and Murray are underperforming, they are killing me almost every week.

    AND Darling is even worse.
He showed a sign of life last week, but I need a more reliable 3rd goalie.

    Goalies on waiver
    [Starter] Raanta, Elliott, Markstrom, Anderson
    [Backup] Ward, Reimer, Glass, Jarry

Even if I drop Darling, I am pretty sure I can scoop him back if he turns a corner.
So, let me know your thoughts If I should add any of those options.

Elliott, Raanta or Jarry I think

Elliott is the starter in Philadelfia, but Philadelfia is the streakiest team...

Raanta I think he will give you beter % and maybe even GAA than Elliott, but you can't count on Wins..

Jarry - you have Murray so it will be a good move to have his backup in case he gets injured again or the Pens decided to run Jarry for like two week and give Murray time to find himself.

I think I like Jarry the best. Elliot gets more starts, but a roller coaster ride.

I think I would take a chance on Elliot. The Flyers are a young team so the first part of the season has been a roller coaster ride... but I think the youth are getting more consistent and the Flyers have been doing decent lately.

Half of the Flyers losses this year have came from that one streak.

I'd go Elliott personally. He's your third goalie so you don't need really amazing performances from him. Plus he hasn't been THAT bad this season, solid overall.

I'd grab (in order) Elliot, Markstrom, Jarry in your position. Elliot has turned his season around, and Philly has done a pretty solid job of suppressing scoring chances this year overall. Vancouver is hot, so you could jump in on Markstrom's starts, and Jarry is a good handcuff to have for Murray. Elliot is definitely an ROS option moreso than the other two though, with Markstrom likely having the most long-term value.

I'd take a chance on Elliott too. I'm not sure you'll get enough help from a backup goalie.

I was gonna add Elliott, but someone snatched him after his awful performance

It seems like Saros is the next guy for the Preds and he's still available.
Can he be a better option?

I'd take Reimer, Markstrom, Elliott and Ward in that order.

My league has 4 minimum goalie starts, so I grabbed Neuvirth instead for this week.
Seems like he is getting some chance since Elliott is struggling.

If Luongo comes back, is he can be the best option?

personally I'd snag Raanta.. yes the Yotes are an abysmal mess, but he's still floating a .917 svpct. and in 4 of last 7 starts has put up a .949 or better svpct, two under .900. so overall he's not going to destroy your cats, he's going to give you lots of starts and his value should only increase next season

I'd look at Quality Start percentage to help with figuring reliability for guys who you are spot starting.

    Good options:
    Saros, Raanta

Looks good so far, but Pittsburgh is notorious flaky on defense:
    Jarry

Rate stats may not be great, but maybe:
    Elliott, Reimer

    Avoid:
    Markstrom, Ward, Darling, Anderson, Glass

Note that Glass is an avoid simply because he looks just okay, and has no track record. He could turn out to be good, and it wouldn't surprise me that much.
