this helps the outfield? At least it doesn't look as offensively disasterous... or, hmm. DH? Hopefully he shows up with his HR swing.

Low risk placeholder so the young guys don't have to get tossed into the (tire)fire if they're not ready. I like the deal.
It's also a nice bat that can hit at the top end of the order if needed.

Looks nice on a jersey for the fairweather fans, too. He's a recognizable name who might sell a few extra hot dogs, can't go wrong there, especially at that price tag.

Looks like there might be some offense from the outfield after all. Start him in LF. He's an instant upgrade to Steve Pearce and relatively cheap too.

This guys had a 0.225avg the last 2 seasons. He's subpar at defence, doesn't steal, good for 20-27HR I guess, and prolly was close to retiring this year.

This is a signing to make it look like they're doing something in my opinion.

Apparently his splits work out kinda well with Pearce, could be a split.

Yeah I'm not buying the optimism for this signing. Granderson is awful.

Over the hill. Not sure he is an upgrade over Pearce.

He's cheaper than Pearce and is a left handed bat. I don't have an issue with the signing for one year. Even if he doesn't play every day and platoons, he's still an upgrade to Carrera. His 26 HRs last season say he still has some pop in his bat. How many Jays had 26+ home runs last season? The simply answer is, not many.
