Default My Nug for Drouin - who wins long term?

Got offered Drouin for my RNH. I kind of like this deal because Drouin is eligible for every fw position while RNH is only C eligible and is on my bench every week. Both players will likely sit on my bench for most of the season but I might get to start Drouin a couple of times due to his versatility. Who wins this deal long term? Will RNH ever play 1st line C for another team? Will Mtl ever surround Drouin with better talent to play with? Important to mention I?m in first in my division.

Especially if you are just sitting them on the bench for the majority of this year. Drouin ceiling is higher... RNH floor is higher.

I'd do it for the versatility. Eventually Mtl will be able to find a real C right?

If RNH ever gets traded out of EDM, his value could jump immediately, along with his production. I don't think that happens this season though. In the off-season maybe.

I do prefer Drouin here. For all we know, they could be linemates next season.

Not sure how many C's you start, but you seem to be loaded there. I think it's a decent trade for the flexibility. Presumably Drouin has more room to improve than RNH...

Yeah, for how far down your roster these two sit, you might as well swing for the fences. Take the higher upside guy in Drouin here. Although I do agree with Axe that RNH's value goes way up if he gets moves into a 1C situation.
