I know he's listed at 6"1, but he definitely looks more built vs tall on the ice. Like John Klingberg is 6"2, but only like 175 pounds, but he looks lanky. Just a comparison, because Boeser is 1 inch shorter, but heavier. Do you think Boeser will have a better career than Kessel?
Kessel's a tough comparison with such a small sample from Boeser. Kessel has been a top-tier scorer through his career, even when he didn't have a lot of talent around him, and he's also a workhorse, barely missing any games. He doesn't really hit or take penalties though, which I think is more Boeser's style. I'd be more inclined to project him as a kind of Benn-lite. 70ish points with 250 SOG, a decent number of PIMs, and lots of hits.

I don't really pay attention to shots, pims or hits because it's not stuff that matters in my format, but I get what you're saying.

By the way, I love Benn's consistency. I wish he was a lock for 85 pts, but I guess a guy safe for 70 with potential for more is always good in fantasy. I liked him enough where I moved Monahan/Kuzy in a package, and got he and Guentzel (even though Guentzel has struggled/he won't be a keeper for me), but I had keeper depth so felt getting a guy like Benn doesn't happen very often, and he's still a high end guy.

Kessel is so underrated hes had a good career- lol! When we booed him out of TO he was getting it done with like NO help- lol!

Im an optimist so Im gonna say yes he does have a better career. But as an owner and a Kessel fan- Id be totally fine with that trajectory..

I would still rate Boeser similar to Laine offensively. All though I think Laine brings hits and some other things Boeser won't. But I wouldn't want to trade Boeser away if I had him in keeper/dynasty at this time unless it were for someone like Mathews, Laine or possibly Barzal. That last one is a toughy.

I'm definitely not trading him man, he will be my rookie carry-over. No hits in my format either, or pims or shots or faceoffs.
