I am not going to copy and paste it because it is a large write up, but an excellent read. This guy was a beast on the ice back in the 90s; a multicat beast. It's sad to see what happened to him but nice to see him turn his life around with the help of some very good friends.

The video is 22 minutes long, but worth the time. I remember that scary Rich Pilon hit. The Pens lost that Game 7 in OT to the underdog Islanders (I especially remember it because I lost a bet with a friend who didn't know hockey that well). Terrible how that hit set Stevens off into a downward spiral. Great to see his life is back on track.

Sad story and well written for the most part. My one complaint is some of the reporting about the hockey side is false. It felt like they had a narrative in mind and stubbornly wanted to go in that direction.
