seems he goes through wild swings, which is why hes on my FA wire.

i really thought teh move the WPGJ was a great move for both sides, but it doesnt seem like its working.

my G is sooo bad right now, but im waay out of contention and honestly looking to stay at teh btm, but id SM really as bad as this? i have one move left and if Demko does not play a game this yr i cant keep em anyway..

    Thoughts?

If you only have 1 move left.... wait.... wait for an injury that you really need to replace.

Example.... you pick up Mason now... then one of your main goalies currently on your roster gets hurt... then Mason gets hurt... you don't have a goalie to start.

thats just it, i dont NEED to save this one for an emergency as im so far out that no emergency situation would hurt me. what if all my goalies were hurt...so what?!

Either way I don't believe Mason is your solution. I'd hold out longer.

Yes Mason is (still) bad. He had a couple of good years in Philly where he showed promise, but his #s are awful this year and he's firmly stuck behind Helle now. His best hope is to get traded and I don't see that happening because why would you want to sell low on a guy like that and he could actually make for a good backup for a year or two for the jets.

This exactly. Hold what you've got for now. Nobody is going to pick up Mason anyway unless Helle gets hurt.

If Hellboy gets injured, then Mason is gold, otherwise let him rot in the FA pile where he belongs.

I have so little faith in him now that if Hellboy did get injured, I probably would be more inclined to pick up Hutch who is playing lights out in the minors and due for a call up or trade.

I would be blown away if Demko doesn't get one game this year. I can see a late season call up - a few games and then back down hoping for AHL playoffs. The only situation I see him staying in the AHL is if the Comets are fighting to make the playoffs. If that spot is secured, Demko should get to show off for a couple games.
