How many keepers? I'm a fan of trading quantity for quality in a limited keeper but 5-for-1 is quite steep. That being said, if you are sliding similar guys in to replace 2 or 3 of those keepers, it may be worth pulling the trigger.
For 1st team in signature. Goals and assists are 1 point, bonus for power play points.
Currently in 3rd, 10 points back of first.
Have been going back and forth with the Crosby owner. His most recent counter and possibly his last.
My stone, Larkin, Schwartz, Keller, Krug, 1st rounder this year, 2nd rounder next year for
Crosby, 3rd rounder this year, 3rd rounder next year.
Gut instinct says it's too much depth to give up just for one player, even if it is Crosby. I would be losing 5 keepers and only gaining 1. I know best player usually wins the deal but 5 for 1?
Would it change if I could pull someone out of the deal? Not sure that's even possible.
No one he is dropping or worth considering to add into the deal.

Without me, it's only "aweso".
Not really limited. 25 man roster, keep 20.

you're in 3rd 10pts back of 1st and you want to remove 200-ish pts from your team to add 40? You blow your whole season.. This is an awful deal.
if you gut your team like this, you're essentially pushing/forcing yourself into almost a rebuild situation & Sid's not who you want at this stage of his career. Not to mention you're offering Keller as part of the package who's going to be within 10pts of Sid himself (if not closer) the rest of Sid's career.

Well, you've got a pretty decent 25 man team there. I think you have like 3 guys who could fill 4 of those new keeper slots you're opening up. Again, it's a bit of a steep price but Crosby is always going to cost you. If you can get away with pulling a player out of the deal, then I'd pull the trigger. If you can't, I think it's probably still worth doing, but it's definitely one to think long and hard about to make certain it's what you want.

Thanks for the quick advice, I think it's too much depth for 1 guy. I do have other super stars on my team already so I think I'll try smaller moves to improve incrementally instead.

There is way too much quality in that quantity. Hold what you’ve got if the price is that high. Take out Keller and the 1st and I’d give it more thought.
I have tried again one more time. Lol Larkin, Krug, stone, palat and the picks for Crosby, maroon, and the picks. I doubt he will go for it, and still might be too much for Crosby, but it is Crosby. Lol

So not sure if anyone will be checking the thread, but I do have an update. I had kept up with this other owner, couldn't just let it go, it is Crosby. The deal has been made, I did acquire Crosby but did give up a significant piece.
My Hedman, Stone, Keller, 1st round pick next year for his
Crosby, Seth Jones, Evgeni Dadonov and a 3rd round pick next year.
Losing Hedman sucks, but I do have Karlsson, Klingberg and Carlson. Losing Keller also sucks, but I am trying to hold onto 2nd place and hopefully make ground on 1st place over the second half of the season. Hopefully Jones can make up for the loss of Hedman, especially since Hedman is now hurt for the next month or so.

That’s a good deal, much better than the original offer he sent you. Getting Jones back lessens the blow of losing hedman and getting Sid is huge! Nice work!
Yea, I really had to get Jones back in the deal. When he first suggested Hedman, I shot it right down. Once I started to think about it, especially with the injury, Jones seemed like a good option to get along with Crosby.

It's ok. Giving up Hedman and Keller really hurts in that deal. Stone was a sell high, so I liked that. Would have tried to find away without adding Keller.
