Petterson, Mittlestadt, Glass

So I have 3 prospects that I really like but can only keep 2. I may have a chance to acquire a pick for one of them so my question is who would you be most willing to let go of and why?

It's between Glass or Mittlestadt. I'm a Canucks fan and Pettersson is looking amazing in the SHL so I've decided to hang on to him.

Who of these 3 if any is most likely to make the jump to the NHL next season?

Agreed but Glass would be directly behind these two. If you are trading him for a pick, it should be a very good pick.

Also, I dont expect any of them to be in the NHL next season.

I could keep all 3 but one of them would have to be part of my 12 keepers. As I see it right now I would Keep the following;

Eichel, Backstrom, Malkin, Seguin, Monahan, Hoffman, Guentzel, Wennberg, Hedman, Klingberg, Josi, Bobrovsky.

From my sig do you agree with this list? If not who would you switch out?
Also, would you keep Glass over any of these guys?

-- no, I wouldn't keep him over any of the others in a keep 12. there's time to wait and see if Mittelstadt comes out of college this summer and turns pro. I would think if he does Buffalo will play him - that I would consider. Pettersson could also walk into Van in Sept. and make the team. He's dominating men in Sweden.

I might keep Montour over Wennberg.

I wouldn't keep Glass over any of your NHL'ers, so if you can get a pick for him, I'd do that.

Given that there are only 22 rookie keepers in your league, it might be hard to pry a good pick....but surely he must be an upgrade to some team in your league?

What is meant is that all three are THAT close. I love all three prospects. I am not too sure there are many prospects out there that I'd like more than these three, especially from last years draft.

Wennberg is the one guy I'm on the fence with. He has so much potential and may just be battling injuries and going through a sophomore slump though. I don't think I would keep Montour over him as he's more easily re-draftable. But I have contemplated keeping Little, Schnieder or one of the above prospects.

I'm certainly not in a position to guess re-draft potential, so I hear you there.

I like Wennberg more than Little. With respect to Schneider, it depends on how many starting goalies are usually kept.

I wouldn't keep Glass - he won't be an impact next year.

So I ended up trading Glass, Bishop and a 6th for Silfverberg, V.Rask and a 4th.

I would have went with Pettersson and Mittlestadt myself aswell. Good choice!!
