Rask and Boston ROS
For team and league in sig,
I am currently in 1st by quite a margin (23.5 game lead) so roster modification is not a necessity but looking to see if I can gain some cap space going into the trade deadline.
Is this the Rask and Bruins team we are going to get the rest of the way? I'm I crazy for considering offering my Holtby for Rask +? I'm only really considering this as a "cap dump" while trying to improve my winger depth. I also feel I'm not using Holtby as often as I thought with Vas as my other goalie having the season he's having.
In my league Holtby has a 8.0 cap hit while Rask's is 5.4. If the consensus is Holtby for Rask is too much of a "downgrade" who else would the masses suggest as a potential target to offer a deal of Holtby for goalie x + player y? Or do I hold what I have and pray Washington tightens it up defensively and Holtby's ratios improve?
For player y I'm looking for a winger to replace either Reinhart or Cammalleri. Options from Rask's owner are Palat (1.7) or Craig Smith (0.8)
12 team H2H, auction draft salary cap, modified keeper league. Keep players at 2X their salary, cap 73M+10% buffer.
