Upgrade D - lose G??
Hi All - new to the forum but long time reader...I had a trade off for me to give Matta and Schenider to receive Drew Doughty and Rask. Obviously a big D upgrade but I'm curious about the goalies...is NJ for real till the end of the season? Will Boston have a strong 2nd half after all the injuries? My goalies currently are Holtby, Schneider and Anderson (Sens). Must start 2...is the drop off in goalie points enough to cover the upgrade in D?
Regular CBS scoring - goals, assists, shots, blocked shots etc.

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

I would do this trade.. the difference between schneids and rask isn't that large... the gap between maata and doughty is massive. I'd take the small hit on G's to get that giant bump on D. goalies are a crap shoot anyway...
Price has destroyed October for owners Holtby has had his moments... doesn't matter which one you one, they will steal you a week and blow a week.

Good trade IMO. I feel like the previous owner has weathered the worst of Rask's season for you, and you're selling Schneider at a great point in time. Congrats and welcome!

Nice job! I like the D upgrade and yeah you're not downgrading much in goalies...now you can get rid of one your other Dmen like Morrissey for a depth upgrade if you need it!
