    Default Hepponiemi vs tippet

I currently own tippet in both my farm teams. The guys in my league don't usually pay attention to the juniors until the wjc, then there is a run on whoever performs. Hepponiemi is unowned in both my leagues. I'm considering picking up hepponiemi in both leagues but would have to move a player off my farm to do so.

What are your guy's thoughts on hepponiemi vs tippet?

I would probably prefer tippet just due to closeness to nhl. Your prospect pool is in 60 deep... likely there sis better than either floating available.. Tolvanen?

I assume you can only roster five minor league players. To be honest, Tippett is your worst in your minors but at this point I am not sure Heponiemi is an upgrade to Tippett, more of a push for me. I wouldn't drop any of your other kids for him.

I'd stick with Tippet. He's probably closer to playing in the NHL and you have SOG as a category. That'll be Tippet's category to take every week.

Tippett is closer to playing in the NHL and is a better fit in your league with those stats. Heponiemi's upside could be slightly higher but it's mostly going to be assists with him.

I'll re-assert - there's likely a better option floating out there than tippet, not named Hepo though

What do you expect from Tippet in terms of points next year? What do you think is his upside?

Tippett, I don't have high expectations for next year 25-35pts... he could become a 25+ goal scorer and float around 55pts

I'd rather own someone like Borgstrom or Tolvanen than Tippet

As a rookie, there's nothing wrong with those numbers.

I'm not here to start a war but theres always plenty of 25-35 pts forward available in free agency, rookie or not. Also it's a bit painfull to keep a rookie for 3-4 years to see him blossom as a 50-55 pts forward

and that's fair. my main comment here, that has been missed is that there's gotta be a lot more available and better than these two in that hockey pool. only 60 prospects deep afterall.. a few gems are floating unclaimed
