Contrary to what most might have expected, the Avs seem to be doing alright post-Duchene trade. Mostly highlighting the top line of Mac, Landeskog and Rantanen (Mac in particular). Anyone looking at Landeskog this season and what are your expectations? Mackinnon seems to be unstoppable right now, so the rest of his linemates should be reaping the rewards.

MacKinnon is finally beginning to show why he went 1st overall over guys like Drouin, Jones and Barkov. I expect MacKinnon to finish around 70-75 points provided he can stay off the IR shelf. Landeskog shows flashes of brilliance too, and could easily get 65-70 points alongside MacK.

I'm toying with the the idea of dropping Duchene for him since he's been an absolute bust in Ottawa so far. I feel like the way things are going Landeskog has better upside.

I start him weekly in my multicat league. I pair him w/Hall and they make a formidable duo on the LW for me. He does have a low floor, so pairing him with a more reliable #1 like Hall is advised.

With no FOW, I'd have no issues dropping Duchene for Landeskog at this point.

I think an argument can be made to start dropping Duchene in every format.. I'd almost rather own Vermette than Duchene in FOW leagues.
