Offered Backstrom
In a keep 5 points heavy I was offered Backstrom for Guentzel and my first. Backstrom would not be a keeper for me. Worth making the deal?

I am going to assume this is not for the league in your sig. I am curious when you say that Backstrom wouldn't be a keeper for you, who would be? Can you share your roster?
My initial thoughts, if you dont plan on keeping Backstrom, is to keep your 1st round pick. If you'd have to give up a 1st round pick, I'd expect him to be a keeper for you.

I was thinking Klingberg was more valuable but not 100% sure. You think i should accept ?

All I am saying is Backstrom has excellent value and he would be a keeper over Klingberg for me if I owned both.
We still don't know all the details of your league. How many teams are in your league? You say "points heavy" but what exactly are the categories? What is your full roster and how many do you start at each position (or are positions even an issue with the forwards)?

you gotta keep Backstrom if you are acquiring he is only 30 and his game is not going to drop off anytime soon even if Caps are not the powerhouse they once were.
