Want to get Karlsson as a keeper. Well positioned to win my league this year. Will this damage my chances?

In short, yes it does hurt your chances. In my opinion, Karlsson won't get it back to what he has been, this season at least. The Sens have looked awful and he has not been producing.
Schiefele and OEL, on the other hand have been producing well. Aside from OEL's +/-, he hits all the cats in your league. I love Scheifele and he will continue to produce at a high rate.
Maybe its a decent trade longer term, but you decrease your chance this year this this deal.

So if I am reading your post correctly, you are trading away Scheifele (who isn't a keeper for you) and OEL and getting back Karlsson and Kesler.
I do think this may hurt you this year if Karlsson stays on this pace, but long term I do like this deal for you. You are basically trading away OEL for Karlsson.

Man, this would give you such a huge advantage to start each year... possibly the #1 keeper at each position... I think some debate for Holtby over Price can be made.
I also think Karlsson goes on a massive tear ROS.
