Eichel is still sniffing for Crosby's floor... this is a no for me
For the League in my Sig.
How do you stack up these players with the next couple years in mind. Is Eichel still a few years from super stardom? Will he ever even get there?
I have Crosby and had an offer from a manager who was willing to give me Eichel, Shattenkirk and a pick. But with Crosby still producing at a high rate, I declined.
Is this a situation where I should ride Crosby till his dying days? His head injuries concern me long term so I've thought about trying to deal him now while the going is good.

Eichel hasn?t produced nearly enough. You were right to reject.
I wouldn't do this in a keep 4. With the keepers you have you are in a position to compete every year. And Buffalo is a train wreck right now. There's no guarantee next year will be any better.
Good call on the decline. Crosby still has years of high end output left in his engine. Someday Eichel may get there but I am holding Crosby here.

there should be no concerns with Crosby he has proven he can remain healthy for long stretches of time now. Eichel will never reach his level though no slouch himself. You should expect ppg production from Crosby through age 34 conservatively.

in fantasy hockey, your time line horizon should be about two years.
You can't make moves thinking you'll 'come out ahead' in 5 years. There is too much competition and too few roster spots with this line of thinking.
In two years, Crosby will come out ahead by about 20-25%. Go with Crosby.
