The only surprising part to me is he's fallen this far. He should be able to somehow maintain a role as a depth guy.

Wasn't he one of the guys that was a hockey ambassador for the NHL's project in China?
Man he actually was a semi-decent depth guy fantasy wise at one point. Too bad.
