I'm a Nico owner in a goals=3, assists=2 and +/-. What's everyone's thoughts on Nico ROS. He wouldn't be a keeper for me but would be for a few gms so I may be able to move him for immediate help now or later instead of a pick or to add to a package. Not sure how the Hall injury will hurt him; also Johansen is out again...
What are your Nico projections based on my settings over next 50 games?

Hard to say if the Hall injury will slow him down or not. I don't think Hall will miss as much time as people think.
I think the 30-35pts that VV mentions is possible but most rookies tend to slow down a bit. I'm guessing 25-30 points over the next 50 games.

I am hopeful that he will get 30-40 but also as people mentioned depends on hall.
Nico could hit the rookie wall or not but also the devils have been playing much better than they should. With the injuries aside from this past game we have been seeing the bottom half of roster slow down. If that's the case it can also impact rest of roster and scoring.
What I would do if trading don't treat him as a one year add even if you cannot keep him. Since most teams would make sure you are trading him for first overall pick value. He isn't producing like first overalls from last few seasons but he is on pace with all rookies right now

Hall sounds like only a couple games. deep bruise, no significant damage. I don't see it affecting Nico too much. If you can get a big bump on him for a fully established player with 70+pt upside then yeah, deal him.
