Lehner or Markstrom ROS in H2H? (W/GAA/SV%/SO) - will rep!
Now that Murray is coming off IR, I need to drop one of Lehner or Markstrom. Who should I let go? I'm leaning towards cutting Lehner. Even though he may be a slightly more highly touted guy going into the season, the Sabres just look awful. I feel like the Canucks are playing a little better defensively, and as a result, I'll continue to get more reliably decent percentages from Markstrom.

Drop Lehner. Sabres are a tire fire, and Lehner's high point so far in his career is "slightly above average goalie". Markstrom's was "average goalie", but I think he's showing to be at worst the same level of talent, but on a team that doesn't suck.

Tough one. I like Markstrom a tad more, but he's still sharing the net with Nilsson where as Lehner is the clear starter in Buffalo, for this season at the very least. He's not showing much on his "show-me" contract signed last off-season.
I'd also keep Markstrom at this point and hope he can steal starts from Nilsson.

That's a pretty close call. Lehner should continue to get more starts, but the Canucks are putting up some Wins for Markstrom. I assume winning is more important in your league than starts. Markstrom is the guy to keep.

Keep Lehner - he's facing a lot of shot(good thing and bad thing) that helps his % more than not I think. There is a chance Lehner get traded to a better team so that's another plus

Van's in trouble. Horvat & Baertchi are down, they got ripped apart vs. Nsh... even when they played well they lost 5-1 to Peg. As big of a tire fire as Buffalo is. There's better pieces currently in place to turn things around and win games moving forward. I'll take Eichel, Kane, Risto to win more games for Lehner than Boeser, Hank, Dank & Edler for Markstrom.

With Talbot coming back soon.. both will be off your roster. I would just look and see their schedule..VAN (SJ, CGY, Mon)...BUF (PHI, CAR). BUF is off a few more days after... so I think you can drop Lehner just so you can start Markstrom again, then drop him for Talbot.

If Lehner gets dealt, he's a backup, or replacing an injured goalie on a team that's desperate.
