    Gentlemen,

I’ve got both Lundqvist and Gerber as my goalies this season and as you know they will both be playing this weekend over ‘across the pond’ in Europe. I think that playing over in Europe is not a good thing when thinking about playing your goalies as there are too many factors to consider (late night party’s, unfamiliar food, time zone change etc……)

I’m thinking it may not be wise playing them while until they come back ‘home’.

Do any of you share this philosophy?

    What are your thoughts?

Well, both of those goalies grew up in Europe, so I figure if they didn\'t have problems with partying too much or adapting to new food when they came to North America, they shouldn\'t have trouble on the return trip.

Jet lag is still a factor, but no more so than for forwards (who might then be expected to shoot less accurately and with less power if fatigue is a concern).

I\'d play Lundqvist. Gerber... might want to see if he\'s in a groove before playing him against the Pens. He seems pretty streaky.

I have Lundy and will make sure that he plays both days.

He is European and has a lot to prove in front of his crowd.
It is a must start imo.
