Darling or Varly?

Who would be best going forward in a 1yr h2h as a #3 goalie?

Wins (W), Goals Against Average (GAA), Saves (SV), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

IMO, Carolina is a better team, but Darling can't seem to get it together and although the Avs won't get the wins, Varly always sees a lot of rubber which is great for the saves and save % cats.

Ugh, I rarely say Varlamov simply because he's been so inconsistent and injury prone but Darling has been a disappointment this season too.

In a one year league, I'd say Varlamov here and pray.

Flip a coin at this stage. Colorado has been better than lots expected and Carolina has been worse than most expected. Until we see that start to shift id go with Varlamov but it's very close.

Agree with all of this, and think this is as much a toss up question as you'll find. Slight edge to Darling who I believe is on the better team, but I do believe Varlamov is the better, more talented goalie.
