With Sekera due back soon it seems less likely then ever he gets PP time.
Klefbom, Benning and even Auvitu are ahead of him as is.
It isnt for a lack of effort from Nurse, me and a lot of other Oilers fans have been clamoring to see him on the PP, but it hasnt happened. I dont blame the coaches too much, Nurse gets his shot off a lot at 5v5 cause of his skating ability, but it isnt a dangerous shot. Something hes gotta work on in his game.
But yeah in leagues that count hits and blks he's a stud in the making.

When Nurse played for the SSM Greyhounds, he was a beast - played on the top PP unit with good peripherals in Hits, Blks, Shots & PIMs. He was often called a "Pronger Lite" type player as he wasn't quite as mean.
Given the situation in EDM and his performance so far this year, I cannot see why they wouldn't put him on the PP. Even if it doesn't happen this year, I can see it happening as soon as next year.

He almost certainly won't get significant power play time this season (outside of injury). In deeper multi cat leagues I can see some value but not in points leagues.

Nurse was everywhere in that Leafs game. Including driving the net from the point and almost tucking it home 5-5. There's so much talent that hasn't been unleashed yet. I would say it's a matter of when not if, does he start getting PP time.
