Ovchkin or Monahan
Hi, in a keepers league, points only, which one do you prefer?
I have Ovechkin and someone offers me Monahan for him. (and a lttle more like a def)
Is it the breakout of Monahan? He is just 23 years old and Ovechkin 32. Monahan never beat 63 points/year.
Is it a good trade for me this year? (I'm almost second in my pool)
Is it a good trade for the futur
If i can get Byfuglien with Monahan, should i do that trade?

I'd need to have a quality dman (provided that's what you need) as part of the trade before moving Ovi for Monahan straight up.

I'm with the others straight up even in a points only league keep OV.
When you said little added like a def wasn't expecting to hear big buff. So if you can do the 2:1 I would depending who you have to drop for that move. I think you can push for even more though

I'm not as high on Monahan as other people seem to be. Hes been a high 50, low 60's guy for the duration of his short career. An MVP caliber season so far from his winger has been required to increase his production beyond the norm. There is no way I'm trading one of the best goal scorers in fantasy until I see a sustained record of higher tier production from Monahan.

I like Monahan a lot but Ovechkin is still a tier (or two) above Monahan.
