That's a ways away to say that, but he's certainly been something else this year. I've seen him a couple times vs the Mooseheads in Halifax and he's definitely one of the best players on the ice every time. He and Zadina are both fun to watch.

Think he is worth a flyer in a deep league?

Depends how deep. Are you talking about the league in your signature?

Yes. His development has been something I’ve never seen before. He’s a dominant force now after playing in lower levels not more than one year ago. Stash him !

If talking about the league in your signature, then I would be willing to drop Jones. But then again, there might be some better prospects available than Batherson to replace him. Apparently his skating is an issue, so it might take some time before he's ready to play in the NHL. Skating is pretty important in the NHL these days but some guys manage to improve their skating.

If it was some second rounder producing those kind of numbers in the Q as a 19-year-old, there wouldn't be so much excitement about that. But because he was a fourth rounder who was passed over in the 2016 draft when he was first-time eligible, there's some hype around him now. Just don't get too carried away and drop some actual first round talent to make room for him.
