Definitely caught me by surprise as well. I wonder who has the longest stretch before their first SO.
Gotta say pretty shocked and surprised that he only got his 1st career shutout last night. I know he isn't anything that we hoped for but still only 1st shutout. Took 115 starts. Maybe they aren't so common and this is normal but just caught me by surprise.

Pokey Reddick apparently
from today's ramblings:

That'd be Pokey Reddick with 127 games. DGB actually wrote about this: http://www.downgoesbrown.com/2017/12...arkstroms.html

Isn't it because he sucks and went on waivers and no one wanted him?

this is all the media wanted to ask him about after the Leafs game and in between that game and Carolina. his response after Toronto was, we got two, that meant I could give up one. I don't really care, we got the W. Love he came back and grabbed the donut to get rid of the donut the very next game. This being Vancouver, the 0 SO story wasn't going to go away and would have become a mainstay in Canuck media ROS. Good for him.

DGB wrote about it the day he got his shutout.
He even knew it would happen: "(And congratulations in advance on the shutout tonight, Jacob.)"
