I would also be a fan of eliminating shootouts (which I actually like) ONLY if we could do: 5 mins 3-3. 3 mins 2-2. 2 mins 1-1!!!!!!!!!
and for fun, 1 min 0-0 !!! I mean, how cool would that be? Goalies taking face-offs and trying to skate around and score from center?? Awesome.

There was a function in EA Sports NHL 95 where you could do it. It was so ridiculous lol. But the 1-1 would be amazing.
