Raanta or Helle long term ---- malkin trade

Goalies are a premium in my keeper league, 16 teams, can keep two goalies so its thin

I'm talking to a guy about Helle or Raanta for Malkin
He values Helle more but so do I....am i wrong?

Hellebuyck over Raanta all day long, it's not even close IMO.

And giving up Malkin should be easily enough to land Hellboy.

I'm not saying he's actually worth Malkin, I'm just saying that if you badly need a goalie and you're willing to give up Malkin for that, then you should get at least a guy like Hellebuyck. Personally, I would want more than just him but every league is different and in some leagues, goalies are almost impossible to acquire.

Yeah see about a draft pick too maybe? I agree Hellebucyk is the better option.

Arizona will improve these next few months. I think their early struggles were due to a systems issue, rather than actual talent. They are a good team on paper.

That being said, I'd want the goalie on the best team and that's the Jets. Malkin should land you an Andersen type player, so ask for at least a 3rd round pick to compensate.

I offered Malkin and Luongo for Helle and Wennberg but they wanted me to include Ekblad or Gardiner
I wanted a pick, they kept going back to Raanta, fell apart

goalies are stupid in this league
week to week match up, 8 player categories and 3 goalie, 2C 2LW 2RW 4D 2 Utility, 2 Goalies
so in balanced already, two players account for more than 25% of the scoring

then 16 teams, so not enough starters to go around

we 7 keepers, cap of two goalies

this guy is particularly hard to deal with but he's the only team with 3 starters (Anderson, Raanta, Helle)

and now Malkin is DTD so i'll revisit later

What does Raanta cost? Raanta is getting hot and if he wins, say 10 of 18, he could have the trade value for a future upgrade.

for Raanta it would still be Malkin but with some additional pieces, i'd want a pick

only one other team has three starters, Rinne, Markstram, reimer ....not that any of those guys would cost Malkin but im looking for a long term piece
i have bobrovsky and want that other G and be done with it.

having said that i've reached out to owners Talbot, Bishop and Crawford but will be a tough sell as without two goalies you are pretty much giving up on the season. ....unless they like Lu

Of course you both value Helly more than Raanta, WPGs other option is Steve Mason. And Winnipeg is a good team. And ARZ is, well...
