Let me first say I’m in it to win it this year, but the year hasn’t gone smoothly so far. After finishing third last year (and first in regular season) my team has tanked and I’m getting annihilated weekly. My goalies have let me down, my top players are on cold streaks. I feel I need to make a move to mix things up, I’m just not sure what. I‘ve been thinking I have too many Pens and Flyers and have been seeing what I could get for Marchand.

Any help on what you guys think I should do would be greatly appreciated.

This is good advice. Sedins aren't getting the minutes and are almost completely fantasy irrelevant. Parise is in the same boat. Obviously whats on the wire matters but I'd be prepared take fliers on young guys or stream guys that are hot or in good situations over those 3. Start there and then be patient, don't make a trade just to make a trade but no harm in feeling out other GMs.

We have farm teams too, 7players each so there really isn’t many up and comers on the wire

Taking a shot on anybody who may be an up & comer is better than a sure-fire down & goner. Pick out 5 guys onthe wire you can think somewhat positively about, and get one. Maybe there is a hits guy on the wire, or a shorthanded specialist or something odd.

Yeah, I'd rather take a chance with a kid. It's more exciting to watch a prospect develop than to go with the same old, same old...with the emphasis on the old.
