Brent Burns, score a point this month please!

I don't see Burns or OEL in either of your signature teams, so I missed that it is a salary cap league. I can make more sense of it now, but for every Brent Burns, there are 15 OELs (give or take). I would still keep Burns, but I can definitely understand the urge. If I owned oel, it would have been an immediate accept.

Forgot to update with my recent trade that got me Burns and Ehlers for Pietrangelo and JVR (salary cap made this trade even more interesting)

I guess the best part is that I'm still in the race for the title and that's without Burns getting on the score sheet... and Klefbom... and Faulk... and Crosby...

I can't imagine losing with this team.. but I'm getting so eager for it to get going for real ..

Undervaluing what OEL is about to become vs what it took Burns so long to become... and seemingly finish becoming.

I'm not so sure MAJOR....I sold Burns this summer because SJ is a bunch of geezers and figured he'd peaked....I didn't think drop off would be this bad, but go back to last year and over 50 games or so, the numbers are ugly.

I think the Burns of last 2 years is gone; LONG gone.

Let's also not forget that BURNS of the last 2 years is actually Burns of the last 3 years. But for the 10 years prior to those 3 years, he scored >40 3 times and fairly average the other 7 years. And I can't remember how many of those 40+ point years were done when he was being experimented with on the Wing.

The Burns run has been great... but it's only been for 3 years. He's a late bloomer and can just as easily fall off the Norris style track (from an offensive standpoint)

This is why NO ONE TO DATE matches up with EK... and while Burns was a formidable force, he was likely just the #1 Contender giving the champ some friction which will only serve to make EK better. (GSP Style)
