I think they are both close in value right now. I personally prefer Mackinnon over hubs but it's close. If you can win this year and need scoring I like the 8th for him.
I am trying the league in sig. again this year, but I need scoring. Is Huberdeau worth an 8th (3rd after keepers)? Who is more valuable, Huberdeau or MacKinnon?

I have Huberdeau over Mackinnon if Huberdeau remains healthy. Barkov & him together are a lock for 65 if they both are healthy. Mackinnon is showing glimpses of his potential though. I have Hubs at 73 and Mack at 65

I still prefer Mackinnon but if you are in contention, need scoring, and can get either for an 8th pick this year id pull the trigger.

Hubs for me.
Mack has better trade value though... however if you buy and hold Hubs, and he hits his stride and breaksout for 70 in a full season, you'll be saying Mack Who? next year.
Huberdeau owner here... no way I would trade him for an 8th round pick (or 3rd rounder after keepers). If you can get him for that, I say go for it.
10 team pts-only keeper league - keep 10 plus 10 from past/present farm. No bench: entire active roster counts. Goalies: 2 pts/win + 3/shutout. 82 adds / year. NHL playoffs count for separate prize.

I'm not so sure anyone will be saying Mack who after this season. I agree they are close but Mack has always had as much if not more potential than Hubs. If he goes over 70 this season he may never look back. An emerging Rantanan has really helped and its likely (given his performance in other leagues with quality players and his underlying stats) that he becomes a near ppg producer soon.
People forget that Hubs is 2 years older than Mack... Hes only 22, it just seems like he's been around longer.
