Targetting Kucherov
For the second league in sig. Price is killing me, already in a fair sized hole, looking to the future. Kucherov owner needs a LW, and a goalie, so I'm considering an offer of Panarin lw, Simmonds rw, Gibson for his Kucherov rw, Killorn lw, Kinkaid. Thoughts?

I was thinking of offering my Kucherov for Eichel and Keller, but even then I'm hesitant to make that move because Kucherov is so good. If you want to get Kucherov, you really have to overpay right now. Other than McDavid, there isn't anyone in the league as valuable as Kucherov right now.

Thanks for the input guys. In terms of value, I've talked a bit with the other gm and this is something he's strongly considering. Price has an enormous amount of name equity in our league as well, so I'm holding him to possibly facilitate another move if I can, or just wait for that ship to right itself. Is there thoughts that Gibson would be a better own going forward? Yes, goalies for this year would be less than ideal, but we only keep 1, so in a lost season, moving one of those 2 for a keeper upgrade somewhere else is the long term goal.

If he is willing to do it and it's a lost year for you as well you can manage cap then yes do it why not.
I like Gibson and think he will get better as the ducks get healthy and has a bright future but goalie can be fickle each year. You can get replacements

I don't think it will be enough but worth a shot. Now is not the time to buy on Kucherov as you will almost certainly overpay.
