No one expects him to rack up points but only a handful of players hit triple-digit shots, hits, & blocks last season and Edler did it in under 70 games. He plays enough minutes a game to still be useful.
That being said I can't imagine he'd fetch anything in a cap league.

Eriksson, seems to be the worse of the two, but he still has offensive skill it's just his 8 million salary is difficult to justify for what he does

I think picks are the only thing you can get here that will be worth your time. Edler may fetch you more than Ericsson in this format but you really need to figure out who that trading partner will be (cap space, needs extra hits and blocks, has later picks on hand....)

I just picked up Edler for Spacek. I'm a contender, he's rebuilding.
Last year Edler was the 81st best Dman in our league (ahead of Ekblad $7.5mn, Morgan Reilly also $5mn)
This year (fp/g due to injury) he is the 108th best Dman and rising
Ok, I wish he was $4mn, but ... must be a shallow league if you can't find room for the 81st best Dman. (We slot 186 + reserves + prospects)
