Stepan at anything more than his last contract isn't worth an own in a cap league. Imo.

I don't make this move until you confirm you can get rid of Eriksson to make the cap hit work. I definitely prefer Stepan to Eriksson. I don't know how you wizard your way into convincing someone to take Eriksson. Also I believe he makes 6 Mil per not 8 Mil?

Nope, not worth it. I like Backlund better at his salary. Sure trade Fowler, but replace him with someone actually worth the money.

Thanks for the replies, I'm happy the owner didn't accept my offer, Backlund has improved since I made the offer, with Vatanen being traded should I still try and shop Fowler?
should I take advantage of the recent hot streak and move Eriksson now or should he continue to be valuable as long as Vancouver remains in the playoff race?

Fowler might get more PP time now that Vatanen is no longer there, so perhaps wait a couple of games and try selling him after that. His next contract is too expensive in cap leagues but a contender could still enjoy the rest of this season and give you something decent in return.
