Acquiring Quick
I know hes a "buy high"- but hes been offered (for more than this- this is my counter)- and Andersen and Reimer have been sieve-like.
I offered Smith, Reimer and Tippett
for
Quick and a 2nd.
He asked for Reimer, Tippett and Saros- but I believe in Saros bigtime long term. I also need a deal that has salary going out. On my ctive roster Id lose Smith and Reimer- but would add Quick and Saros.
Is this enough? Too much? Im a bi fan of Tippett and have like ZERO prospects...

you are certainly giving up the future for now but I am in the camp of contending and winning every season not always looking to future. In the end the only gamble for you is losing Tippett but you gain a Vezina contending goalie so I say pull the trigger. Saros is heir to the throne but not his here and now.
