    Default Battle of the Basement

So I have Robin Lehner on Buffalo as well as too many other Buffalo players... Playing Arizona tonight. Goalie stats are tight this week. Do we see Buffalo winning this w/ reasonable GAA or do they falter and lose to the Zona tire fire?

Tough one! Arizona has scored 3 goals in their last 3 games. But Buffalo has been off for like 5 nights...stewing in their self-destruction.

I say Buffalo will be looking to make a statement win here, offensively and defensively. Lehner with a W and reasonable GAA

Depends on who shows up to play. I can see the Yotes building off their first win here, and taking it to Buffalo. However, I won't be surprised if Buffalo wins the game. Either way, I don't trust Lehner to be the difference maker per se, and while he might score the Win, his GAA won't be spectacular.

Raanta is back for the Yotes, so there's that. I expect the Yotes to win.. I doubt it will be very pretty for either goalie

Yeah... I agree with all of the above actually which is the worst part. Someone said choosing goalie matchups was like Voodoo in a recent post somewhere and I totally agree. Games that you expect to be high scoring aren't and then the ones that are potential power matchups for you blow up your GAA.

I've watched both of these teams a bit over the year so far and Buffalo has really been looking half decent the past few games. While I think Arizona looked good in stretches. They just gave away that 2 goal lead the other night in the final 2 minutes. (I've been trying to figure out OEL and my Buffalo players...)

This one could go either way really and could be low or high scoring... Hence the Battle of the Basement! haha

I'd go for it and start him. A big rest and against Arizona, the starts don't get much better.
