Trade Gibson for Talbot?

Was just offered Talbot/Foligno for my Gibson/Arvidsson, would you consider this deal?

I like the deal for you. Edmonton still turns this around and will be dominant sooner rather than later.

With so many goalie categories, including saves, I think this one is a no-brainer for you. I'd expect Talbot to get significantly more play over the rest of the season, and this saves, and likely more wins too. No reason the ratios can't also be similar or better than Gibson's.

Saves is not a category in my league but there are indeed 6 goalie cats. Just didn't know how confident to be in the Oilers/Talbot turning it around.

Based on projected playing time, Talbot is tops here. And yes Edmonton should turn it around.

So if you're gonna do this, you need to hope that turnaround occurs soon, otherwise the value the folks above me are talking about will be lessened.

I'm in the minority here but I really, really like Gibson. I also think Edmonton is buckling a bit under the weight of their lofty expectations this year.

I do think eventually Edmonton turns it around and at the very least puts up a middle of the pack win total if not better. Anaheim however is a very good team in their own right, I think they'll be able to match Edmonton in the wins department. Add that to the fact that Gibson is younger than Talbot and the better talent (plus Anaheim's D corps and prospect pool is excellent). I'd stand pat in your shoes but at the same time wouldn't fault you for taking this deal.

I like the Talbot side. Talbot has started to turn it around despite his disastrous start. He's lost several 2-1 and a 3-2 game recently. His individual peripherals are solid. I'd make the deal Especially with GS as a category.

Talbot's given up 4, 4, & 3 goals in his most recent stretch, which is concerning. I know the talent is there in Edmonton but I still find myself nervous. I accepted the deal based on the feedback given (thank you gentlemen).
