I suggest checking Goalie Post / Left Wing Lock for confirmations.
Will Markstrom get a b2b start for the Canucks of they going to put in Nilsson tomorrow.

It's not b2b so I think Markstrom goes again.
Left wing lock seems to be the quickest.

Not a b2b situation tonight.
Wait for confirmation, but the chatter in vancouver has been that Nilsson has earned the right to be the go to go guy, at least for now. Markstrom was given the last start because it was already over a week between starts for markstrom. The spread out schedule over the last while could have allowed the canucks to play Nilsson 6 in a row, but at the risk of Markstrom not seeing any game action for a long period of time. Markstrom's start the other day was right in the middle of this stretch of games.
I fully expect Nilsson to be back in net and get the bulk of games the next little bit.

Green confirms Markstrom is starting tonight. Jacob wants to show he’s better than Schneider.
I think by B2B he means - Markstrom started the last game, will he start the next game? Not 2 game in 2 nights - b2b definition

yes. Marky playing tonight. Green confirmed in the presser.
but yeah. b2b usually refers to two starts in two days.
yeah, they'll ride the hot hand for the most part, all season I'd think.
1B + 1B = B2B?
Not sure there is any controversy, but there certainly is some internal competition. I do know we have answered 35KK's question though.
Here's a take from Canucks insider on how the goalies might be being handled:
http://theprovince.com/sports/hockey...jpat-halloween
Here's the excerpt:
BEST NUGGET
As most know well, when I’m away, The Stanchion commands The Provies cockpit.
His Thursday season debut was pretty great. He introduced us to “Smiling Linden” which is sure to be a recurring meme.
Absorbing the game at home, I was able to see the SNET intermission panel and there was Woodley with some quality panelling, providing us all with a helluva nugget.
Woodley was talking about how the opponents — specifically style of play — are impacting Canucks goaltending decisions which I immediately thought was quite the notable development.
To no one’s surprise, Woodley was 100% on point.
The “win-and-you’re-in” path to juggling goalies is such a counter-intuitive, foolish approach dripping in faulty logic.
What if a goalie wins but doesn’t play well? What if he got lucky?
What if you notice issues in technique?
Are you just going to keep playing him because he won or are you going to take the time and try and get issues fixed, which could take days of practice?
The Canucks have two different goalies who play two different styles. If there is a way to use this to their advantage, and they believe there is, that is the way you want your hockey coaches thinking and strategizing.
Take the Minny game. Markstrom had just won two straight. He sat.
The Canucks were coming to an end of a long road trip. They were planning a conservative, chance limiting gameplan.
They were playing a team which currently lacks snipers and one that plays in straight lines.
So they tapped the goalie who you generally need perfect, or close to it, shots to beat, in Nilsson.
If you’re going to beat Nilsson, you need to pick corners.
The original plan was to go with Markstrom against Washington in the next one. The thinking being, it seems, his athletic style is more of a form fit against teams loaded with offensive talent and snipers.
Nilsson’s shutout in Minny trumped the plan, and that’s fine. Hard to argue against a goalie coming off a shutout.
And Nilsson did help the Canucks beat the Caps. But the Caps scored twice and hit three posts. Nilsson was fine. But he was sitting right on the fence of being “fine” and giving up five goals.
The thinking “Wash was a Markstrom game” may not have been misguided at all.
Truth is, neither guy has ever shown their capable of being a No. 1. Neither guy has indicated yet he could handle 60 games.
So what a difference it is to see a team play to their strengths rather than wedge one guy into the crease because he’s, well, supposed to be The Guy.
