Need to clear 10.3 million in salary!

Full keeper with cap numbers. I need to clear roughly 10.3 million in salary. Guys that will move the needle to do this:

Kopitar and a scrub
Weber and Del Zotto
Some combo of Silfverberg, Gardiner, and Teravainen
Or something in between?


Any thoughts?

I'd get rid of Teravainen, JVR, maybe Silfverberg. Don't see Weber or MDZ on your team, but I don't think you need MDZ.

Tough to know without the salaries listed.

It's AAV. Cap is NHL cap + 5MM... Just picked up Weber and MDZ because of IR for Fowler, JVR, and TT. Only problem with keeping Weber and Kopitar is they're basically gone next year with McDavid getting a giant raise. Whereas could hang on to the cheaper guys a little while longer. JVR is gone as we can't retain UFAs.

Looking at your sig, some combination of TT, Fowler and Silf makes the most sense to me.

if you just picked up Weber to replace Fowler, why not drop your recent addition when Fowler returns? that seems like the most straightforward resolution to the majority of your cap issue.
