Definitely a goalie controversy in Vancouver, and it's hard to predict how this one will pan out, based on Markstrom's and Nilsson's histories

It's certainly possible. At 27 years of age, he is coming into his prime years and we have seen many goalies just start to take off around this age. I am not willing to send out big assets to acquire him at this point, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye on. Axeman.... I acquired him yesterday as my forth goalies, but waiting on what his performance will be next week to reside if I keep him in my lineup permanently and reside in between Darling or Elliots who to drop for him.

I would not run with both Van goalies, that's a recipe for failure. 5-1 in their last six they may be, they are not a team that will be good enough to roll a tandem, not if you want to compete. That said, I like Elliott less and really think Neuvirth is going to steal the majority of starts from him ROS.
I have a hard time calling either goalie - Markstrom or Nilsson a #1... I prefer to list them as 2A/2B - Luongo needs to return the thing 1 and thing 2 shirts to Van

It will be Nillson until he loses a couple and then it’s back to Markstrom. No relevant goalies in Van until Demko is ready. 2 year eta.

Nilsson pulled this trick in Edmonton as well. Luckily for him he isn't competing with Cam Talbot this time. But we know this is going to be a back and forth situation. I wouldn't want to rely on the Canucks tandem but if that's the best you can do right now then go for it until things go south.
