So what is Price?s value in a salary cap, keeper league with only wins and shutout as the categories?

Tried to trade him this offseason but no one offered anything solide. To be honest, I?m not even sure I should keep him for next year as his cap hit will be huge. Thoughts?

I know... I’m really considering not keeping him at the end of this year if I’m not able to trade him.
This brings me to my next question, what would be a not so bad return for him?

In a cap league maybe a used puck bag. Now is the absolute worst time to try and trade him. You're hosed for now. You have to hold him and wait for a return to normal numbers. If that doesn't happen (which is highly unlikely) you have to drop him at the end of the season. But it will and he will regain some value for you. You have to be patient...

I can't tell you that but we are only 10 games in. Revisit it in late December/early Jan. I'll bet you'll feel a lot better about your G situation. Anderson is just fine for now and Price will be too. Have you got a big Habs fan in your league? If so start teasing them with silly low offers. But THE most important thing is to be patient here.

Find a team that isn’t aware of the $10.5 he’ll be getting next season. A week ago I managed to trade him for Rask and Butcher.

the trick is to wait for just before the playoff run, there will be a team who is in contention but whose goalie gets injured and with price they have a chance to still make it work. That's your target.
