he is definitely an intriguing player to watch, but curious to know his fantasy multi-cat value.

No points in last 6 games and lost his PP spot last game, not sure for how long. The Sharks aren't scoring so it's not necessarily Heed's problem only but I wonder about his value for this season at least, given that he doesn't give much in terms of multi-cat (decent blocks as he's a dman but nothing else)
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

He was still on the top PP for at least part of last game (or was that the florida game?) Anyway, in the game I watched he had a goal called back (they said the puck was over the blue line on a slapper he took. I did not like the call as it was not definitive IMO). But yes, Nothing in last 6 games. San Jose's #1 PP is a mess, as is most of their offense. Heed was actually looking better on the ice now than he did a month ago. More comfortable and smoother skating but the points just are not coming. Nothing to do but play the wait and see game.

And this is why i called him to end up closer to 30 than 40+ at the start of November in the other Tim Heed thread....although his career numbers are great pre-NHL; way too many flash in the pan (not saying Heed is that) players come along than waiver pickups that stick (think Ghost, Klingberg).

Heed has all the underlying things working for him including good shot volume, but getting 30 pts as a rookie D (I know he is older than typical rookies) is still a very good season. 40+ is very, very rare and people tend to get carried away after a hot or cold streak.

Deboer said earlier in the year he would monitor his rookie D mens games played and get DeMelo back in when he thought the time was right. 2 straight games with Heed out now. Expect him and Ryan to occasionally to be in the press box. Heed needs to be putting up points to be a mainstay in the lineup.

He should draw back in the lineup soon, hopefully refreshed and producing again.

he seems like too good of an offensive/pp weapon to keep out... as long as his play in his own end isnt too rough, the sharks seem like they need an offensive spark with burns having tough luck this season. Hope he stays in now with a goal in his first game back. Tim Mo Freakin Heed!

Does anyone know why Heed keeps getting scratched? I thought he was playing well.
