Is this the year the signs of Devan Dubnyk success coming to a end or is he struggling because of all his fellow teams injurys and hope it picks up later in the year.
Is it time to may start thinking of trading him.

I think it's a combo of both. Don't trade him unless you get full value in a return though.

He's played in 4 games and you're ready to write his demise? Jeez. And if you want to trade him, now is a bad time to do it.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Hard to believe Dubnyk can go from a top 5 G to trade bait in 4 games!
Look at Allen last year - very slow start but finished strong. And he has carried it over to this year.
Everyone should just tap the breaks, Dubnyk will be fine.
I wouldn't trade him - he will be fine.

Very interested in this thread, as I just traded Sergachev and Rantanen for Dubnyk, Tavares and DBrown!

Great trade on your part. Wondering what the other GM was thinking?

Glad to hear that because I wasn't so sure. But in the end rarely do you go wrong trading young assets for big guns like Tavares - and Dubnyk is key here because if he and the Wild perform even close to expectations, once they get past this early season injury mess, my Holtby Dubnyk combo should be tough to beat.

The other GM is buddies with another GM who likes the Florida teams and he'll probably try to flip Sergachev to him for a great return - I think that's what he was thinking. That plus his other Cs are Seguin/Mackinnon/Schenn/Couturier so has some depth. At G I traded him the Isles tandem, so now he has Schneider, Howard and the Isles tandem - definitely takes a hit trading away Dubnyk but might be ok with that depth.

He finished last year on a rough note too. I was never really a fan. He has caught lightning in a bottle in MIN and has been able to keep it together for a long stretch. Might be in for a rough year thanks to all of the injuries but I agree that moving him now is when his value is the lowest. As much as it hurts I would hold for another 6 weeks to see if his individual numbers improve, wins or not.
