Marleau, Parise, Keller Dropped

Hey all,

I'm looking to improve my depth at LW and in the last 24 hrs. Marleau, Parise, and Keller were all dropped in my league. Who would be the best pick-up ROS? I'm #1 for waivers right now so that's not an issue. I know Keller is Dobber's top ranked prospect but he would most likely not be my keeper this season because we only keep 2. His +/- is also going to be pretty rough this season I think. Thoughts?

ROS and upside Keller is the no brainer here to me. Sucks that plus minus is a cat but I believe he will run away with the other stats by years end.

Keller is the only one with a shot at keeper consideration as well which likely won't happen with keep 2 but I didn't expect Laine and Matthews to be kept in my keep 2 league last season around this time (as the season wore on it became more clear) and they both were. So you never know you may be able to trade him to a weaker team as a keeper if he puts up 60 points or more (which I think is possible given his deployment so far this season).

Marleau would be my second choice but to be honest I wouldn't burn a no 1 waiver spot on him, and I wouldn't touch Parise or his bad back for all the tea in China.

Do you have to drop someone or can you just add?

Yah my roster is full so I would have to drop someone. I'm dropping Zibanejad because I have plenty of options at C (Backstrom, Panarin, Eberle, Namestnikov). I was biased to Parise because I wanted him in the draft but I agree his back injury sounds sketchy. I put in a claim for Keller.

Keller and I'd have dropped Eberle over Zib.

Call me a fool, but I'm still holding out for Eberle to pick it up with JT, plus Zib's +/- sucks so far (like Keller's) and I can only offset that so much before I tank that category. Zibanejad also doesn't have any positional flexibility and, like I said above, I'm good for C's.
