Yeah I don?t have a big issue with this trade... personally I am a huge Rielly believer and I think he will outpoint OEL this season. I do think the pick swap was a bit overkill but I guess that?s the price you pay when you buy high on a defenseman who is scoring at a PPG pace as the PP1 defenseman on one of the best offensive/PP teams in the league, and whose scouting reports compare him to the best D man currently in the game. And to think I picked up Rielly off FA last season with a bid of $2 lol. My how valuations change quickly in Fantasy.

He came to reason I think, I offered back Tavares and Letang instead for Drasaitl and Fowler. I think its fair no?

Its definitely in the realm of a fair trade but I also am on board with MZac prefer the Tavares side now. In a points only I think that the moderate increase from Tavares to Drai (and if JT plays how he can, there may not be almost any increase), doesn't warrant the big drop off from Letang to Fowler (even if Letang is an injury waiting to happen).

In a salary league I guess I can see the advantage given that you don't know what JT will be making next year, but I still would want the Tavares side

There is a possibility for Josi instead of Fowler, what would that be for you guys?

Reliable in terms of staying healthy....probably not. Reliable in terms of producing when he's on the ice.... he many tiers above Fowler. Last year Fowler produced 39 points in 80 games, Letang produced 34 in 41. In terms of offensive output there is a massive gap. Fowler has never topped 40pts, if Letang plays 65 games that's pretty much guaranteed. I think its a massive gap even thought Letang is an injury risk.

If its Tavares Letang for Josi and Draisaitl, I do the deal. You get the younger forward with what I think is slightly higher upside points wise, and you get a slightly lower upside D that is much more likely to give you a full season of appearances.
