Trading Morgan Rielly/R Johansen for Risto/Duchene

Thoughts on this trade? I drafted my team without much attention to hits and blks so i think this trade would help me bump those up to at least the middle of the pack.

Seems like a pretty fair trade. You wouldn't have been able to do this preseason but with Rielly off to a hot start it should be doable if the other manager buys into him continuing his production (he might given his pp presence early on). I think it could be good for both teams especially if the other manager is not desperate for hits and blocks.

This should give you a slight bump in Hits, but You could lose n the "points" end of things. Pretty even.

How many categories? What format?

To me id be tempted to hang fire primarily as I don’t think the trade can make up the short fall so you weaken an area you might be good in to become average in both and run the risk you lose across the board?

Also think this is a pretty fair deal overall (I think points, PPP are likely to be pretty close when all is said and done). This will definitely give you a bump in hits and possibly SOGs, but note that your +\- very well could take a beating on this one.

Wait don't you have Risto and Duchene? I think in those 4 players you'll see a dip in hits and PPP with losing Ristolainen. Johansen is a safer season bet than Duchene.

I did the trade and my signature is now upgraded. The whole thing is a gamble but maybe it pays off? Either way my plus minus is trash. I tried to make it better and it should have been good, yet I'm at the bottom of our league with like -40 something (Burns, Zucs, and Zibanejad are killing me).

Lots of risk here, but how fun would fantasy be without it? Thanks guys
