The Los Angeles Kings will be without Jeff Carter for multiple weeks after the two-time All-Star sustained a lower-body injury in his team's 5-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday.
Carter was injured late in the first period after being hit into the boards by defenceman Jeff Petry. He left the game and did not return.

I would guess that Shore will shift to C2, Kempe staying at C3, and Nic Dowd (scratched last night) will play C4.
So.. I'd guess Shore is the benefactor for even-strength time.
Cammy took Carter's place on PP1 last night, and that'll likely stay his spot.

LA Kings Insider will likely have the info available first (following next practice):

Good shouts from P7 - and after their performances last night they may not be under the radar adds anymore

    21 is Nick Shore.
I'm trying to figure out who #25 is. [User Comment suggests it's... BROOKS LAICH!!!]

    Well this sucks.

This has to hurt Toffoli's value too I assume. Have both in one league

Shore could be half-decent but Toffoli is really going to have to step up. If this turns out to be a multiple months thing I would expect Blake to start making calls. I literally laughed out loud when I saw that Brooks Laich was going to be called up. To do what? Serve as a pylon during practice drills?

Assuming his achilles got clipped like happened to Huberdeau last season? Or something similar...

Normally you wouldn't think a cut would require surgery. Unless they consider stitches to be surgery.

They said its a cut tendon, which heals a lot faster and a lot better if you insert a few stitches. Out 6-10 weeks unofficially.
